Mpho Raboloko
Mpho Raboloko is an Economist with over ten (10) years of experience in policy research, analysis, advice, capacity building and project management. He is currently Market Analyst at Botswana Tourism Organisation (BTO) where he is responsible for managing the Research & Statistics Unit. Key among his roles at BTO is market intelligence gathering to produce statistics for strategic decisions. He led the development of the National Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) Strategy for Botswana, and his research interest is now on the economic impact of MICE on destinations.
Prior to joining the Botswana Tourism Organisation, he was Programme Coordinator for the Global UN Joint SDG Fund Project in Botswana managing the implementation of a Joint Programme which supported Government to develop an SDG financing strategy through an integrated national financing framework (INFF). His pre-UN experience includes advising and providing demand and supply driven support through evidence-based policy research to the Government of Botswana as Research Fellow at the leading national think tank, Botswana Institute for Development Policy Analysis (BIDPA).
